Where will our next billboards appear? It's up to you!
5.2 million people have asked themselves 'When did I last kill an animal?' after seeing our powerful vegan billboard messages across the East Midlands.
Our billboards, asking people ‘When did you last kill an animal?’ and ‘What’s your favourite animal
to eat?’ have now been seen by millions of people at 60 busy bus stops and other billboard locations across eight towns and cities in the East Midlands.
The responses online and from passers-by have been incredible. Pictures have been sent in from far and wide, and they’ve been shared on social media thousands of times. We’ve also received tonnes of positive comments and messages from vegans and non-vegans alike!
Our director, Juliet Gellatley, was interviewed by seven regional radio stations about the campaign; giving us another chance to plant a vegan seed in the minds of those listening and encourage them to question their food choices.
Before we launched the designs, we carried out market research with both vegans and meat-eaters and were somewhat surprised to discover that the very direct messaging was more effective in getting the attention of people who eat meat - and they actually preferred them! We’re now seeing the direct impact of this in the real world, and we couldn’t be happier with the results!
Now we want to expand the campaign across the whole of the UK, to help save more animals and we need your help! If you would like to see vegan billboards in your area, you can donate to the campaign here.
We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and we will not place billboards until the time is right. In the meantime, please help us maintain momentum during this difficult time.
